LV Raiders Outlast NY Jets

Sunday’s win at New York was crucial for the Raiders who deserve credit for turning it around after a 23-14 halftime deficit.

The Raiders outplayed the Jets in the second half, outscoring them 24-10 to win the 38-33 game to even their record at 4-4.

But if they fall to 4-5 next week wit a loss to the 49ers, they will have some decisions to make at the November 10 trade deadline.

In defeat, Jets RB Braelon Allen rushed for a career-high 147 yards on 21 attempts, including a 21-yard TD in the third quarter and WR Adonai Mitchell had a career-high 142 yards and a TD. QB Geno Smith was 22-of-30 passing for 290 yards, 2 TD and 1 INT.

The Jets fell to 2-6. Going into this week, the three teams the Raiders beat to open the season had a combined 3-16 on the season.
